Responsibility
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across web platforms, APIs, and integrated systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support to developers, clients, and internal teams, including root cause analysis and incident management.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement fixes, updates, and performance improvements.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices to enhance knowledge sharing and process efficiency.
- Proactively identify system vulnerabilities or bottlenecks and recommend scalable solutions.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets using ITIL or Agile methodologies to meet SLAs.
- Assist in deploying and configuring application updates, patches, and new features in staging/production environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations (night shift) to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in application support, IT operations, or software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting web applications, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Splunk) and logging frameworks.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with global teams.
- Availability to work night shifts (Philippine/US time zones) with weekends off.
