Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and local/international tax laws.
- Collaborate with Big Four tax teams to develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for global clients.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Conduct tax research and provide advisory on complex cross-border tax issues for multinational corporations.
- Assist in audit support, ensuring all financial records are audit-ready and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including tax authorities, to resolve discrepancies and optimize tax positions.
- Utilize advanced accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) to streamline financial operations.
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and industry trends to provide proactive financial guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, tax advisory, or audit, preferably in a Big Four firm or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with tax software (e.g., Thomson Reuters, CCH) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Australian tax regulations is a significant advantage.
- Proven track record of managing multiple clients and delivering high-quality financial solutions.
