Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across various subjects and grade levels as assigned.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and classroom dynamics.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans left by regular teachers and ensure continuity in student learning.
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress, collaborating with permanent staff when necessary.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources to support effective teaching.
- Uphold school policies, safety protocols, and behavioral expectations at all times.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Teaching, or a related field (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Valid teaching certification or license (preferably with international experience).
- Proven experience as a teacher, substitute teacher, or relief teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IB) is a plus.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
