Responsibility
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production machinery, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacements.
- Implement predictive maintenance techniques using vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis to detect early signs of equipment failure.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
- Develop and update maintenance schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to recommend equipment upgrades or modifications for improved reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, failures, and corrective actions in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and propose sustainable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) in all maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Reliability Engineer, or similar role in manufacturing, logistics, or heavy industry.
- Proven expertise in preventive/predictive maintenance (PdM) tools and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines, conveyors, pumps, motors, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., vibration meters, infrared cameras, multimeters).
- Strong knowledge of CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Certifications in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
