Responsibility
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor equipment health using vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis techniques.
- Develop and update maintenance schedules, procedures, and checklists in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance activities and support operational goals.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in equipment reliability and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Reliability Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., vibration analyzers, infrared cameras, ultrasound detectors).
- Experience with CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, or Fiix) is a plus.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, or other safety and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work in shift-based environments and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
