Responsibility
- Act as the primary relationship contact for Chinese-speaking corporate and commercial clients.
- Actively prospect and onboard new-to-bank clients through networking and industry outreach.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to increase wallet share for funding and lending products.
- Analyze credit proposals and perform comprehensive financial assessments to ensure high asset quality.
- Provide customized financial advisory services, including trade finance, treasury, and investment products.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Risk, Compliance, and Operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and regulatory adherence.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities within the Chinese market segment.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports and client activity updates for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory for effective communication with our China Desk clientele.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or commercial lending.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, trade finance instruments, and credit analysis.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a financial services environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to structure complex financing deals.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and core banking CRM software.
