Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered dialysis treatment to individuals with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor patients during dialysis procedures, including assessing vital signs, fluid balance, and machine functionality to ensure safety and efficacy.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians, while educating patients on their care plans.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment logs, progress notes, and incident reports.
- Operate and troubleshoot dialysis machines and related equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety guidelines.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, helping them understand kidney disease management and lifestyle adjustments.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license (e.g., STR or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in dialysis or nephrology nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages such as Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin are a plus).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
