Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the dialysis nursing team, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Oversee the daily operations of the dialysis unit, including patient scheduling, treatment administration, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the quality of dialysis care and operational efficiency.
- Monitor patient progress, assess treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Ensure compliance with local and international healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and ethical practices.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for dialysis nursing staff to foster professional development.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers, to deliver holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and reporting to support clinical decision-making and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is a plus.
- Valid nursing license and specialization in nephrology or dialysis nursing.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in dialysis nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of dialysis procedures, renal disease management, and emergency protocols.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and interact with patients and families.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare management software and electronic medical records (EMR).
