Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide expert advice and counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring pharmaceutical supplies to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Conduct medication reviews and identify potential drug therapy problems to enhance patient safety.
- Educate patients and the community on health topics, such as disease prevention, wellness, and proper medication adherence.
- Oversee and mentor pharmacy assistants and interns to ensure smooth operations and adherence to protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmaceuticals, regulations, and best practices through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from an accredited institution.
- Valid registration as a pharmacist with the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting (hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and dosage guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
