Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills in both pediatric and adult populations.
- Assess and treat swallowing disorders (dysphagia) using clinical and instrumental evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing at home.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment reports.
- Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid license or certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indonesia.
- Proven experience in assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with assistive communication devices and technologies is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other local languages is advantageous.
