Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality palliative nursing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on pain management, symptom control, and emotional support.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and assess patients’ physical, psychological, and spiritual needs, adjusting care strategies as required.
- Educate patients and their families on disease progression, treatment options, and end-of-life care, fostering understanding and peace of mind.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting all interventions, observations, and communications.
- Provide bereavement support to families, offering guidance and resources during difficult transitions.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (registered with the Indonesian Nursing Council or equivalent international certification).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in palliative care, oncology, geriatrics, or hospice settings.
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques, symptom assessment, and end-of-life care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to ethical and holistic care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
