Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes through drug utilization reviews.
- Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining pharmaceutical supplies to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Conduct medication reconciliation for patients to identify and resolve discrepancies in their medication histories.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives, such as vaccination programs and wellness campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including documentation, reporting, and adherence to pharmacy protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical advancements, guidelines, and best practices through continuous education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from an accredited institution.
- Valid registration as a Registered Pharmacist with the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or community pharmacy setting (new graduates with exceptional skills will be considered).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
