Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stocking, labeling, and rotating products.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and processing transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Handle cashier duties, including operating the POS system and processing payments.
- Assist in promotional activities, such as displaying merchandise and informing customers about ongoing discounts.
- Support the pharmacist in administrative tasks, including record-keeping and documentation.
- Ensure all products are properly stored and within their expiration dates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in Pharmacy or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail or pharmacy setting is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Knowledge of generic medicines and healthcare products is a benefit.
