As a Medical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing emergency medical care, conducting comprehensive health screenings, and ensuring the well-being of patients through evidence-based medical practices. Responsibility
- Provide emergency medical care in the A&E department, including triage, diagnosis, and treatment of acute conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive health screenings and preventive care assessments for individuals and corporate clients.
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care and continuity of treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and post-treatment care plans.
- Participate in on-call duties and respond to medical emergencies as required.
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through continuous professional development.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all patient interactions and medical procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid practicing license (or eligibility for registration in Indonesia).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in Emergency Medicine or General Practice.
- Proven experience in health screening and preventive medicine is highly advantageous.
- Strong diagnostic and patient management skills with a focus on evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments and make critical decisions swiftly.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
