Responsibility
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection with accuracy and minimal patient discomfort.
- Follow strict protocols for sample labeling, storage, and transportation to ensure integrity.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized phlebotomy workstation in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Verify patient identity and confirm test requisitions to prevent errors in sample collection.
- Provide clear instructions to patients to ensure a smooth and stress-free blood collection process.
- Handle and process specimens according to laboratory guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to prioritize urgent requests and manage workflow efficiently.
- Document all procedures and incidents accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field; licensed RMT in Indonesia.
- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or in a similar role, preferably in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients of all ages.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel or relocate within Bali’s key areas (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.).
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and EHR software.
