Responsibility
- Perform home-based blood extraction and sample collection with precision and adherence to medical standards.
- Ensure all specimens are properly labeled, stored, and transported to the laboratory for accurate testing.
- Follow strict infection control and biosafety protocols to maintain a sterile and safe working environment.
- Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and test documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and verify test results for timely reporting.
- Operate and maintain portable medical equipment used for home-based testing.
- Stay updated on latest medical technologies and best practices in phlebotomy and laboratory testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, with a valid RMT license.
- Proven experience in phlebotomy, blood extraction, and sample handling in a clinical or home-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality control.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
- Familiarity with portable medical devices and digital health platforms is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within assigned areas in Bali to conduct home visits.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is preferred.
