Responsibility
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other radiologic examinations, ensuring high-quality and accurate results.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide insights for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including imaging reports, medical histories, and procedural documentation.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and all relevant healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior radiologic technologists and support staff as needed.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices through continuous education and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (e.g., PRC license in the Philippines or equivalent international certification).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-Ray Technician in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and digital imaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols, infection control measures, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize patient care effectively.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
