Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze biological specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples following standardized procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration, cleanliness, and proper functionality.
- Document and verify test results, maintaining meticulous records in compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to strict quality control and safety protocols to ensure reliable and contamination-free results.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information.
- Stay updated with the latest medical technology advancements and laboratory techniques through continuous learning.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff or interns, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology (BS MT) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Professional License as a Registered Medical Technologist (RMT).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior laboratory experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and standard lab equipment.
- Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, or ISO standards for laboratory practices is advantageous.
