Responsibility
- Administer hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, fluid balance, and response to dialysis, adjusting treatment as needed.
- Educate patients and families on kidney disease management, dietary restrictions, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment logs, lab results, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety standards in dialysis units.
- Operate and troubleshoot dialysis machines, ensuring proper functionality and hygiene.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients undergoing long-term dialysis treatment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (S.Kep) or equivalent; registered nurse license in Indonesia.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in dialysis nursing or nephrology care (fresh graduates with specialized training may be considered).
- Certification in Dialysis Nursing (e.g., CNN, CDN) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of renal anatomy, physiology, and dialysis principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is required.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on nephrology best practices.
