Responsibility
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and update vendor databases, inventory records, and procurement tracking systems.
- Support data entry and basic analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate material deliveries and resolve supply chain discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to evaluate supplier performance, pricing, and availability of materials.
- Assist in negotiation support by compiling comparative data and vendor proposals.
- Generate reports on procurement activities, spending trends, and inventory levels for management review.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement workflows and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and familiarity with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach and eagerness to learn.
- Prior internship or coursework in supply chain, logistics, or procurement is advantageous.
