Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Sabah Region Sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the telco sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key partners to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, KPIs, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design and execute promotional campaigns tailored to the Sabah market.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to the sales team to enhance productivity and performance.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the telecommunications or distribution industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a regional or territorial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Sabah and occasionally to other regions as required.
