Responsibility
- Strategic Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the APAC region, focusing on freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain solutions.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, ensuring long-term retention and revenue growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a regional sales team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional client service.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities in the logistics sector.
- Partnership Development: Forge strategic alliances with carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to enhance service offerings.
- Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed annual revenue targets for the APAC market.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for high-value contracts, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 8+ years in sales leadership within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on APAC markets.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and logistics operations.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, secure large contracts, and expand market share.
- Leadership Skills: Strong team management abilities, with experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable business strategies.
- Negotiation & Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; additional APAC languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
