Responsibility
- Develop and execute regional procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines for manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, and contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including RFP/RFQ management, bid analysis, and vendor selection.
- Implement risk management frameworks to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by sourcing eco-friendly materials and ethical suppliers in alignment with corporate ESG goals.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to align procurement activities with budgetary and compliance requirements.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry benchmarks to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Mentor and develop procurement teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or CIPS certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role within manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence internal and external partners.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics, import/export regulations, and incoterms.
- Experience in cost reduction initiatives, spend analysis, and category management.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
