Responsibility
- Lead and optimize regional procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for goods and services across Southeast Asia.
- Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payments, compliance with financial policies, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Implement and monitor procurement KPIs, reporting on performance metrics, cost reductions, and process improvements to senior management.
- Collaborate with finance, logistics, and operations teams to align procurement strategies with organizational goals and budgetary requirements.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and financial inaccuracies.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, such as the adoption of procurement and AP automation tools, to enhance productivity and data accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to local and international procurement regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or accounts payable, with at least 3 years in a regional or managerial role.
- Proven track record of managing procurement and AP operations in Southeast Asia, with experience in Indonesia, Malaysia, or Thailand highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and procurement/AP automation tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Tipalti).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to procurement and financial management.
- Fluency in English is required; additional Southeast Asian languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Thai) are a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
