Responsibility
- Develop and implement regional category strategies for lubricants, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost optimization.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations to secure the best terms and value for the organization.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier performance, cost savings, and procurement efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain resilience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including senior leadership, to communicate procurement strategies and outcomes effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain, with a focus on lubricants or industrial products.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management in a regional or global role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, pricing trends, and supplier performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa).
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
