Responsibility
- Develop and execute the regional business strategy for Southeast Asia, aligning with global objectives to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Lead sales, business development, and partnership initiatives to expand the company’s AI/SaaS footprint across key markets (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, etc.).
- Build and manage a high-performing regional team, including sales, marketing, and customer success functions, to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions to accelerate market penetration.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to tailor solutions for the Southeast Asian market, ensuring alignment with local needs and regulations.
- Oversee P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting for the region, ensuring financial health and operational efficiency.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and media engagements to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Monitor competitive landscapes and emerging trends in AI/SaaS to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or general management within the AI, SaaS, or tech industry, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role in Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record of scaling businesses in high-growth markets, with a focus on revenue generation and market expansion.
- Strong understanding of AI and SaaS business models, including subscription-based, enterprise, and cloud solutions.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at C-level.
- Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams in a multicultural, remote, or hybrid environment.
- Deep knowledge of the Southeast Asian market, including regulatory, cultural, and economic dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or other regional languages is a strong advantage.
