Responsibility
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Southeast Asia (SEA) to drive revenue growth.
- Client Acquisition: Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand the company’s market presence.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute business development strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive outreach and negotiation.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform decision-making.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling business proposals, pitches, and contracts to potential clients.
- Partnership Management: Nurture existing partnerships and establish new alliances to enhance the company’s regional footprint.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on business development KPIs, providing actionable insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the SEA region.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of regional markets, business landscapes, and cultural nuances in Southeast Asia.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to close deals, negotiate contracts, and build long-term client relationships.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other SEA languages is a plus.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop data-driven business strategies.
- Self-Motivated: Highly driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Networking: Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building and maintaining professional networks.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA is advantageous.
