Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on water treatment systems and equipment.
- Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose root causes, and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct water quality testing and ensure compliance with local and international environmental standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to install, upgrade, and commission new water treatment technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and inventory of spare parts.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operational staff.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations in all operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in water treatment, industrial maintenance, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, filtration systems, and chemical dosing equipment.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, PLCs, or automation tools is a plus.
- Valid certification in water treatment operations or occupational safety (e.g., OSHA) is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial.
