Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term engineering and facilities strategies aligned with the resort’s vision for sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff to deliver world-class service.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems across the property.
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage capital and operational budgets, optimizing expenditures while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Drive eco-friendly and energy-efficient solutions to reduce the resort’s environmental footprint and enhance its reputation as a leader in sustainable luxury.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Oversee relationships with external partners, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects and services.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce adherence to local and international regulations, including OSHA, fire safety, and building codes, while implementing proactive risk management practices.
- Guest Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement facility improvements that elevate guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in facilities management or engineering leadership, with at least 5 years in a luxury hospitality, resort, or large-scale commercial property environment.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), energy management, and preventive maintenance best practices.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, foster a culture of accountability, and drive continuous improvement.
- Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills with experience managing multi-million-dollar capital projects.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g., NFPA, ISO) and local building codes in Indonesia.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with a track record of resolving complex engineering challenges in high-pressure environments.
