Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive visual acuity and refraction examinations for patients in the outpatient clinic.
- Operate specialized ophthalmic equipment including auto-refractors, phoropters, and lensometers with high precision.
- Provide detailed recommendations for corrective lenses or further ophthalmic consultations based on examination results.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with ophthalmologists and nursing staff to ensure a seamless patient care experience.
- Educate patients regarding proper eye care, contact lens handling, and vision correction options.
- Ensure that all clinical equipment is calibrated and maintained in optimal working condition.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Refraction/Optometry or a relevant medical field.
- Valid STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) as a Refractionist/Optometrist.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or optical clinic setting is preferred.
- Strong technical skills in performing refractive diagnostic procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings clearly to patients.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to clinical accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume outpatient environment.
