Responsibility
- Perform accurate eye refraction tests and vision assessments using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Provide personalized lens and frame recommendations based on patient needs and prescriptions.
- Conduct comprehensive eye health screenings and detect early signs of vision-related issues.
- Educate patients on eye care best practices, lens options, and preventive measures.
- Fit, adjust, and repair eyeglasses and contact lenses with precision and care.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and optometrists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain detailed patient records and update digital systems with accuracy.
- Stay updated on the latest optical technologies and industry trends to deliver top-tier service.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Optometry, Refraction, or a related field (certification preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Refraction Optician or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using automated refraction systems, phoropters, and tonometry devices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of lens materials, coatings, and frame styles to provide expert advice.
- Familiarity with Indonesian eye care regulations and standards.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (additional languages are a plus).
