Responsibility
- Monitor and operate refinery equipment to ensure continuous and efficient production output.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any irregularities or maintenance requirements to supervisors.
- Follow strictly all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workplace safety guidelines (WSH).
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and monitoring of chemical materials and refinery feedstock.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical or process-related issues on the production floor.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of daily production activities, temperature readings, and pressure levels.
- Participate in regular safety drills and continuous improvement workshops to enhance plant productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a refinery, chemical plant, or heavy industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in an industrial setting, including climbing or working at heights when required.
- Proficient in reading technical diagrams, gauges, and monitoring software.
- A proactive mindset with a strong emphasis on workplace safety and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and communicate technical updates clearly.
- Willingness to perform shift work if required by the production schedule.
