Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive site investigations, including soil sampling, rock analysis, and geotechnical assessments to evaluate ground conditions.
- Develop and interpret geological reports, maps, and 3D models to guide earthwork and foundation design.
- Supervise and coordinate earthwork operations, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with civil engineers to optimize excavation, grading, and compaction processes for construction projects.
- Monitor and mitigate geological risks, such as landslides, erosion, or unstable terrain, to prevent project delays or hazards.
- Provide technical recommendations for material selection, slope stability, and drainage systems based on geological findings.
- Liaise with government agencies, clients, and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for geological activities.
- Train and mentor junior geologists and field technicians in best practices for data collection and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.Geol, C.Geol) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical investigations, earthwork supervision, or construction-related geological roles.
- Proven expertise in soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and geophysical surveying techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, PLAXIS, or GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international geological standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, SNI).
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to conduct fieldwork in remote or challenging terrains across Bali.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
