Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on reefer units, compressors, condensers, and other cold storage equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system malfunctions with minimal downtime.
- Monitor and maintain temperature control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct emergency repairs and respond to system failures promptly to prevent spoilage of stored goods.
- Document all maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance without disrupting daily workflows.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and ensure all equipment meets OSHA and local regulatory standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in refrigeration technology and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reefer maintenance, HVAC systems, or industrial refrigeration, preferably in cold storage or food processing industries.
- Certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) or equivalent technical training from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of ammonia, Freon, and CO2 refrigeration systems, including compressors, evaporators, and control panels.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in cold environments for extended periods.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and automation tools is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple sites within Bali as needed.
