Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
- Drive process automation and optimization within the RTR cycle to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury) to align financial reporting with business objectives.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and KPIs to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on accounting standards and industry best practices, ensuring the team adheres to evolving compliance requirements.
- Support audit activities by coordinating with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (RTR, General Ledger, or Financial Reporting).
- Proven expertise in IFRS and GAAP, with experience in multinational corporate environments.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate complex financial data clearly.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives, including automation and system implementations.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
