Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets under the guidance of senior finance team members.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and data validation.
- Help maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Participate in financial audits and ensure documentation is complete and organized.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance team.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
- Prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or related fields is a plus.
