Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the receiving, unloading, and inspection of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Verify purchase orders against delivered goods, resolving discrepancies with vendors or internal teams.
- Oversee the efficient transfer of products to designated storage or selling areas, optimizing space utilization.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate receiving team members to maintain high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overstock situations to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with store managers and logistics teams to streamline receiving processes and reduce turnaround time.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, damages, and returns using inventory management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of retail logistics, inventory control, and supply chain best practices.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in retail or warehouse settings.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
