Responsibility
- Oversee the daily receiving and releasing operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of goods.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of receiving staff to achieve operational excellence and productivity targets.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold quality control and safety standards.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to receiving operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in all receiving activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within receiving, warehousing, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
