Responsibility
- Operate reach trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Stack and organize palletized goods in designated storage areas, optimizing space utilization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to shipping documents and inventory lists.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Assist in conducting inventory counts and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Follow all company procedures for equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck or Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting (minimum 1-2 years).
- Valid forklift operator certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and equipment handling.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems (advantageous).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team or independently.
- Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
