Responsibility
- Verify and inspect all incoming deliveries against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and specifications.
- Maintain precise records of received goods in the inventory management system, updating stock levels in real-time.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to resolve discrepancies, shortages, or damages in shipments.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards for perishable and non-perishable items.
- Prepare and distribute receiving reports to relevant departments (e.g., Finance, Kitchen, Housekeeping) for reconciliation.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to confirm delivery schedules and address any logistical issues.
- Assist in conducting periodic inventory audits to minimize losses and optimize stock control.
- Adhere to company policies and local regulations regarding procurement and receiving procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or procurement role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with ERP or POS systems.
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 kg, as required by the role.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
