Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, with precision and consistency.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and blenders, ensuring they are clean and functional.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience.
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to the management team.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the café area, including workstations, counters, and customer seating areas.
- Educate customers about our menu offerings, including coffee origins, brewing methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends, techniques, and seasonal menu items.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the F&B industry is a plus, but passion and willingness to learn are essential.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Creative mindset with a desire to experiment with new coffee recipes and presentation styles.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
