Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage all receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and supplies.
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of receiving staff to maintain high standards of efficiency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, resolve discrepancies, and ensure quality control.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to prevent losses and ensure accountability.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving processes to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, warehouse, and finance, to streamline operations and improve workflow.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to receiving operations, such as delivery times, accuracy rates, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards in all receiving activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in receiving, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with vendors, team members, and other departments.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in receiving and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the hospitality industry.
