Responsibility
- Verify and document all incoming deliveries against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and specifications.
- Inspect food and non-food items for damage, expiration dates, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and warehouse staff to facilitate smooth unloading and storage of goods.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all received shipments using digital or manual tracking systems.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages immediately to the logistics manager for resolution.
- Assist in inventory management by labeling, sorting, and storing received items in designated areas.
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and food handling guidelines.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Physical ability to lift and move items up to 20-25 kg, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain are advantageous.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is beneficial.
