Responsibility
- Assist radiologists and technicians in preparing patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including X-ray, MRI, and CT scan machines, following strict safety protocols.
- Prepare and organize imaging rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for use.
- Process and develop radiographic images, ensuring high-quality results for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Follow infection control and radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff.
- Assist in the positioning of patients to obtain optimal imaging results.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
