Responsibility
- Assist radiologists and technologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Process and develop images, ensuring clarity and accuracy for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast media as required for imaging procedures.
- Monitor and manage inventory of radiologic supplies, ensuring availability for procedures.
- Provide support to patients by explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Valid certification or license as a Radiologic Assistant or Technologist.
