Responsibility
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and fluoroscopy, in compliance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure patient preparation, positioning, and shielding to minimize radiation exposure and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and reporting any technical issues to the appropriate team.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results and provide preliminary findings when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including imaging reports, in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
- Assist in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and operating room by providing imaging support for surgical and interventional procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on imaging procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Radiographer license or certification recognized by the Indonesian Ministry of Health or equivalent regulatory body.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiographer in a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic imaging center.
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and C-arm systems.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles, patient care techniques, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and other medical imaging software is a plus.
