Responsibility
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and patient protection standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results and support accurate diagnoses.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, imaging data, and technical reports.
- Perform quality control checks on equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiography techniques and best practices.
- Provide compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification or license to practice as a Radiographer (e.g., ARRT or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Proficiency in operating radiography equipment and interpreting imaging results.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and other healthcare IT systems is a plus.
