Responsibility
- Perform high-quality DEXA scans and vascular ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with research protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, maintaining a compassionate and professional bedside manner.
- Document diagnostic findings accurately and maintain comprehensive digital records for research analysis.
- Collaborate closely with clinical investigators and medical teams to ensure procedural efficiency.
- Ensure all imaging equipment is calibrated, maintained, and sterilized according to hospital safety standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to any clinical emergencies during procedures.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and hospital infection control protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Radiography from an accredited institution.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore.
- Proven experience in performing vascular ultrasound and/or bone densitometry (DEXA) scans.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of clinical ethics and patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
- Ability to adapt to evolving research requirements and handle complex clinical workflows.
