Responsibility
- Lead and optimize the Record-to-Report (R2R) process with a focus on cash accounting operations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls for cash management
- Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity across systems
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to accounting team members
- Identify process improvements and implement automation solutions for cash accounting
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong expertise in cash accounting, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proven experience with R2R processes and month-end close procedures
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent understanding of IFRS and local accounting regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
