Responsibility
- Lead and manage R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and technologies to drive growth in the chemical engineering sector.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand product portfolios, enter new markets, and enhance competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and sales teams to optimize product performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess the viability of new products, processes, or business models.
- Oversee pilot testing, prototyping, and scaling of innovative chemical solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and research institutions.
- Prepare technical reports, business cases, and presentations for senior management and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, product development, or business development within the chemical or process industries.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from inception to execution.
- Strong understanding of market trends, competitive analysis, and business strategy in the chemical sector.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, intellectual property, or technology transfer is highly desirable.
